Bedtime and West are a creative duo who use their complementing disciplines to create unique, sensory works of art full of joy, magic and mischief. For audiences of all ages.
Sophia West
Sophia West is a storyteller and a multimedia artist who uses the colour, vibration and intensity of laser beams to translate sound into the visual field. As a neurodiverse creative, she uses her synaesthesia to be able to “feel what the sound looks like”. Based in Scotland, she finds inspiration in local folklore and the nature-rich landscape surrounding her home.
Bedtime
Bedtime is a soundscape artist and a writer who samples everyday objects and transforms the recordings to create ethereal drones and cinematic spatial mixes. They use sound as sculpting material woven together with poetry and prose, adding a sonic dimension to their storytelling. Originally from Poland they entered the world of art through the Brighton fringe theatre scene where they perform live their blend of poetry and electronic soundscapes.
